Akra is set in a place of dead roads - a muddy, polluted tropical zone in the aftermath of a savage war. Insect, reptile, and animal life are flourishing. Lawlessness, hunger, and derangement reign among the few survivors, scattered among sparse settlements and outposts. Over the course of one night, the fates of two of them will be sealed.
